First Generation Immigrant, Third Generation Scholar

I immigrated to the United States of America from India as a teenager in the early 2000’s. My grandfather and mother were both scholars and educators in their professional lives, and I’ve been fortunate to continue in the family tradition.

Apart from the pursuit of my scholarly interests, I enjoy reading, writing, listening to old vinyls, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I live in the Washington, D.C., area with my wife and our rescued dog.

I am a supporter of Manchester United Football Club. My support of MUFC is not so much an interest or a hobby, but a (sometimes toxic) romance. I enjoy football culture and history, in all of the sport’s clarity and contradictions.
