I’m a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I study politics, with special focus on political thought. My dissertation analyzed the relationship between theories of individual freedom and practices of government in modern India. I lived and worked in the Chicago area for two decades, and I’m now in the D.C. area. Prior to my time in D.C., I served as residential faculty at Lake Forest Academy and Phillips Exeter Academy, and I taught undergraduate courses at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
